Jacksons Lane
A sympathetic internal refurbishment of a modernist house in Highgate village
About the project
Jacksons Lane is part of the Southwood House Estate, a triangle of residences built in the early 1960s to a design by the architects Andrews, Emerson, Sherlock & Keable.
The project involved fitting bespoke windows and doors, an internal reconfiguration, extensive fitted joinery, bespoke architectural oak blackened steel staircase and polished plaster walls.
The house has oak floors throughout.
